Juniors win national championships!
Huge congratulations to the Brighton-based junior team “Strangers With Candy”, who won the Junior Outdoor National Championships at the weekend.

Mixed Tour roundup
After their excellent 2nd place at Mixed Tour 1, Brighton Ultimate’s mixed team continued their great season of results with 3rd place at Mixed Tour 2, and 2nd again at Mixed Nationals. These excellent results mean Brighton have qualified for the European club championships, to be held later this year in London.
Weekday practices
Practices during the week have now moved from Mondays to Tuesday evenings from 6pm in Preston Park. See you there!
Brighton come 2nd at Mixed Tour 1
We had an outstanding start to the ultimate season this weekend as Brighton Mixed came second at Mixed Tour 1. The final was against the Great Britain team, and by all accounts the scoreline was pretty close. Hopefully some more info later…

2009 Junior Indoor Nationals
The Brighton-based junior team, Strangers With Candy, recently sent two teams to the 2009 Under-19s Indoor Nationals. They had great results all round, coming 8th and 11th (out of 28 teams), and achieving 1st and 2nd place in Spirit scores! You can read the full tournament reports here.
Brighton to host Open & Women’s Tour 2
Following from last year’s successful Mixed Tour, Brighton Ultimate will be hosting the second Open Tour division A and Women’s Tour on the 4th and 5th of July. Open Tour 2 for divisions B and C will be hosted in Birmingham the following weekend.
Christmas practice & quiz
This coming Monday (15th December) will be our last before the winter break. Bring mince pies and Christmas cheer and be prepared for Jason & Tom’s Christmas Quiz afterwards in the clubhouse! Practices will resume in the new year on the 5th January.
