Stingrays finish 3rd at Junior Mixed Nationals
Stingrays went to the inaugural Junior mixed championship last weekend and placed 3rd.
After winning their first two matches 7-3 and 4-2, they were unable to beat Evolution who went on to win the event.
In Stingrays’ final game they faced up against Flux, a team who have won 2 of the last 3 Junior events. Stingrays narrowly lost 6-7 in an extremely well contested game (scoring the final point with a layout grab, not quite enough to bring the scores level).
It was also the first Stingrays tournament organised entirely by the players. The team was made up of 6 different schools, colleges and universities!
