Mixed Tour 1
April 18, 2007 | In News, Tournament ReportsBrighton had a strong showing at the first Mixed Tour of the season in Cardiff last weekend. Brighton 1 had some tough games but retained a top 8 position, and an under-seeded Brighton 2 had a very successful weekend, winning all their games (including a grueling final game against Curious Bacon that went to sudden death) to achieve their best possible position at this Tour - 13th. After these great results were are looking forward to the next Mixed Tour in 2 weeks, and are anxious to show the top teams that there’s a reason we’re the only team with two squads in the top 16!
Brighton Mixed win London Winter League
March 19, 2007 | In News, Tournament ReportsBrighton Mixed beat Chichester in the final to win the last London Winter League event of the year, giving themselves enough points to secure first place in the entire winter league mixed division. Well done us! Who says London produces the best Ultimate teams in the UK??

Brighton Ultimate in Sweden
January 30, 2007 | In Tournament ReportsLast weekend Brighton sent two teams - an open team and the womens team - to Skogshyddan’s Vintertrofén (”Winter Trophy”), a European indoor tournament in Gothenberg, Sweden. The tournament was attended by some of the top European teams - in the open division Brighton won two games as well as losing some very close games including one in sudden death, eventually finishing 24th out of 32. Brighton Women, in both their tournament and international debut, did excellently to win three of six games and make it to the plate final, finishing 10th out of 16.

Southampton Ladder League results
January 22, 2007 | In Tournament ReportsOn Sunday Brighton went across to Southampton for some Ladder League matches organised by Ltd Release. In their debut appearance, the Brighton Womens’ team played the Ltd Release women, and after a long and hard-fought match were victorious 8-6.
Meanwhile, Brighton Open played Skunks and the Ltd Release open team, winning 15-1 and 16-3 respectively.
